The First Step...

Before we work together, the first step is the initial consultation. This is not a hypnotherapy session. This time provides you with time to discuss your presenting problem(s) and your istory, medication used etc.
Also your can ask as many questions as you need to ask. I will explain hypnotherapy and the mind body connection to you. I will ask you questions, and will be able to tell you how sessions should proceed. If I don't think he can help you for whatever reason, this is the time I will tell you. It is rare but it happens at times, and honsty is the best policy.

At this meeting there is no need to make any decision, you are not expected to make a decision, al you need is to simply think about what has been discussed, and after careful thought, if you want to go ahead, give me a call or send an email and we can make the appointment to get thngs moving.
The initial consultation is approx 30-40 minutes and is costed at £40.00

Hypnotherapy sessions / Counselling

After the initial consultation and you have decided to proceed, the next step is to begin sessions. What to expect will have been explained to you, your questions answered, and there will be more questions from me, and you will have your own too as we proceed.

Sessions are rarely held each week, since you will need some time to become familiar with your new learnings gained from the sessions. Usually a CD recording of the hypnotherapy session is given to you to listen to inbetween times we meet. Though this is on a session by session basis, and counselling sessions are not recorded.

The number of session needed depend upon what you are presenting, the time you have lived with it, and other considerations too.

However for smoking for example, it is usually 2 sessions after the intial consultation.
For IBS it can be 3-5 sessions depending on symptoms and frequency of presentation.
Hypnotherapy sessions can be 40-60 minutes, occassionally a little longer costed at £50.00
